2019 Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention
Philadelphia is one of the most historic cities in America, and host to the largest tattoo convention in the world. Not only that, but it's the longest-running Villain Arts show, now into its early 20s. The Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention features a vast amount of sideshow performers, celebrity tattoo artists, and unique vendors, offering a little something for everyone. You CAN be tattooed and pierced at this show!
The largest syndicate of tattoo shows in the United States, Villain Arts calls Philly home—making it the culmination of their yearly nation-wide tour. Featuring the Voice of the Tattoo World, Dr. Blasphemy, as the show’s MC, the convention’s entertainment series packs a punch and includes music, burlesque dancers, human suspension, and more. TattooAwards ranking leaders will be using the show as a catalyst in their efforts to win $20,000 in cash and prizes throughout the weekend.
Philadelphia is also a good place to spend a weekend, especially if you’re staying near the tattoo convention downtown. The city also boasts some outstanding art museums, including the Rodin Museum and the Franklin Institute Science Museum. Don’t forget to grab an authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich while you’re in the area – you won’t regret it.
